PURPOSE

Delivering creative design, engineering and project delivery solutions together with our clients. Shaping a healthier, sustainable and safer world.

From consulting to construction and compliance, through our multi-disciplinary design and engineering teams, we partner with companies across the globe, helping them realise their projects in the most efficient, cost-effective, and sustainable way.

Our story spans over six decades, starting with two pioneers:

Sir John Baker (later Lord Baker), IDC Group’s Research and Development Director and previously Head of Cambridge University’s Engineering Department, and Howard Hicks, the Group Chairman and Chief Executive.

As an international consultancy, engineering and project management company with an impressive collection of blue-chip clients, we later joined the Morgan Sindall Group in 2007 and rebranded to BakerHicks in 2017.
